Source: Redskins get No. 2 pick

By Adam Schefter | ESPN
In a pre-draft blockbuster trade, the St. Louis Rams have agreed in principle to send the second overall pick in this year's draft to the Washington Redskins for three first-round draft picks and a second-round pick as well, according to a source in Cleveland familiar with the terms of the deal.
The trade, first reported by Fox Sports, cannot be signed off on, turned in and processed until the new league year starts Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST, but it is expected to become official then.
In the deal, the Rams will receive the Redskins first-round in each of the next three years, plus Washington's second-round pick this year in return for the second overall pick that the Redskins now will use on whichever quarterback the Indianapolis Colts do not draft No. 1 overall.
There is a widespread expectation that Indianapolis will make Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck the No. 1 pick and then Washington would follow by selecting Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.

This is amazing!!!!!! We're rich! Three first rounders, and a 2nd rounder. We are going to be picking up premier college players left and right for several years!
Great start for the new regime, great start.

I'll take it. Its not that 1.22, but it looked like browns werent about to give it up. I'm fine with 3 first round picks 3 years in a row
And 4 players in the top 40 this year!

This is so awesome! I've never been this excited for Rams ball. I guess the question is who do we take at #6? If Claiborne or Blackmon fall, its one of them for sure. If not, than who? Reiff? TRICH? Ingram? Coples? To me its looking a lot like Trent Richardson (baby SJAX).

Re: Rams agree to trade #2 pick according to Jay Glazer
Hey part of me is happy but part of me is not. We drop down to 6 and only pick up a 2nd round this year. Yea I like the additional 1st in 2013 and 2014... but I was hoping for more than one extra pick this year.

Awesome trade. Three first round picks means we get to pick twice in the first round for 3 years. So nice to have that luxury. I'm shocked the trade happened so far away from the draft. I wonder what the other picks are besides those first rounders.
Everyone thank Peyton for insulting the Redskins enough to do this deal.
