Re: Rams Close to Deal With Giants DT Robbins..

Who said we aren't? The coach himself actually said "he adds depth to defensive tackle."

That's not something you say about an annointed starter.

Re: Rams Close to Deal With Giants DT Robbins..

I just don't get this signing.

Spags must want him to help teach the young Tackles on the team.

The Rams must not like any of the starting tackles from last year.

He might be a good leader for the young players but that is about it.

I'd rather keep Ryan, Scott, Gibson & Carricker. Maybe Carricker can stay healthy for the year and show why he was drafted with a first pick.

Ryan has improved every year with the Rams. Last year Scott was a rookie. He started playing alot better at the end of the season.

Draft Suh let him play UT. Tell him to attack the QB not read and react like at Nebraska.

Maybe the Rams are planning on trading DT. A. Carricker or somebody else.

seems like you got it in the end.

tho it could also mean that they intend to have 5 DT`s for now..incase AC`s health doesn`t improve..or he doesn`t pan out if/when he is healthy. i fully expect us to draft another DT somewhere in the draft even if its not Suh.

lets just pretend we didnt sign Fred..and we just took someone in the draft..AC( more often injured than not) Scott (im a fan of his..but he`s still learning the game) Ryan..(big fan of his,he`s RFA but he should be back..) Gibson is gone..say we draft Suh..looks a great prospect..but he is just that until we see him play some games in the elite league.

You have to remember that our defensive tackles were pretty bad last year. They might have played hard but they werent talented at all. Robbins is an upgrade at the position, but should still only be a depth player in the rotation. We need more talent at the position full stop, so i really dont think this stops us going after a DT in the draft
