Steve Wyche just reported on NFL Total Access that the Rams have interest in Andre Smith. He said their interest in him has never dwindled and it could be down to him and Sanchez. Wow, never thought I'd hear his name and the Rams in the same sentence again. This is truly getting out of hand now. Saturday can't come soon enough!
Haha, well WalterFootball is reporting that "according to three very legitimate sources, the Rams will pick Eugene Monroe." I won't believe any of it for another 48 hours or so.
Woah!! Wyche was in STL with Devaney and Spags. He might have a good feel on the Rams and on the other hand all this could be pre-draft smoke.
Jason Smith, Eugene Monroe, Mark Sanchez, Aaron Curry and now Andre Smith. The shell game just keeps getting bigger and bigger.:D

They aren't going to take Andre Smith with the second pick in the entire draft.
i did hear that the Bills, desperate for an LT after the Jason Peters trade, want to move up at least before the Bengals at 6, supposedly to draft Andre Smith

That's exactly how I feel about it too, Ramblin. I think that there is interest in him, and reasonably so, because he was a top 3 pick before he got a case of the stupids. He's the most physically gifted OT in the draft(to get that body moving, you'd have to be), and is a great run blocker. If we were in that 6-10 range, I'd probably jump on him like he jumps on fried foods.
Can't wait til tomorrow, this is getting to me. :) :)
Best OT's in this draft in order:
1. Oher (No sacks since 2007) Good feet and run blocker.
2. A. Smith (1 sack last year) Good run blocker.
3. Monroe (3.5 sacks last year) Good feet.
4. J. Smith (3.5 sacks last year)
