Im doing a mock three round draft and im picking for the rams. What are your big positions of need this offseason? Anyone your fans really want to get? I have a couple of general ideas but i wanted to see if i could get a little more insight from the source. Thanks for any help you guys give me!

My top five in order right now would be (1) defensive end, (2) strong side linebacker, (3) free safety, (4) offensive guard, and (5) defensive tackle.

Can you draft an entire defense in the first round?

    Re: Rams Draft

Any Defensive Lineman would be a great help but throwing in a good tightend might be a good choice. depending on what pick in the draft you have, I am of the opinion that drafting defense is never a mistake especially in the later rounds, however normally the better offensive linemen go in the third or fourth round. I know it is a mock draft and it is for only three rounds but keeping that stratagy in mind you might not waste an early pick on offensive line unless he is of superb talent.

Since we need a large NT for our new defense that might be the first choice in the second round but if you want to draft offense or skill positions use that 1st round pick to do it.

Thanks for the help guys, im picking 19th in all rounds. Im hoping a good D Lineman like Branch Adams or Woodley falls but thats doubtful. If not ill probably go with a OLB with the first choice. Again thanks for the input.

We don't need to spend any draft picks on a tight end. We just drafted a very good prospect in the second round who is starting for us and playing well when he gets the ball in his direction.

If you go OLB, make sure it's not a weak side prospect. We're already starting two of them.

    1. DL, a big space eating DT and a pass rushing DE the Rams should sign one in FA and draft the other.

    2. S, I don't like Otogwe and Chavous they have not played well against the run.

    3. OL, the interior OL is awful right now and Pace is injured.

I'd have to prioritise OL over S at this point in time, depending on where we pick.

    Re: Rams Draft

seeing how setterstrom plays over the next several weeks will help clarify the situation at interior line. i still think we need a guard because even if mcollom comes back and richie moves back to guard, how much longer can andy play?

We may get a guard in free agency, wouldnt surprise me a bit. I think draft wise it has to be defensive end or linebacker.
