Country has a spectacular aura aboutCountry has a spectacular aura about
Rams Draft

Rams Draft

Sign

DE Justin Smith
DT Randy Starks {RFA we lose a 3rd round pick}
C Andre Gurode
WR Someon to replace Curtis

Draft

Trade 1[13] to New York Giants for 1[20] and 3[84] and 7[]
-They move up and get a Marshawn Lynch to play RB and with Branch, Anderson and Adams gone why not move back.

1[20] LB Lawrence Timmons [Florida St.]
-Brings size and speed to the outside.

2[45] DE Charles Johnson [Gerogia]
-Little is getting on in years and Johnson can be a long term guy.

3[77] Traded to Titans

3[84] WR Jason Hill [Washington St.]
-If Curtis leaves then the WR core needs to be filled back up.

4[] C Dan Mozes [West Virginia]
-Romberg vs. Gurode vs. Mozes, at least we will have great depth.

5[] DT Clifton Ryan [MIchiganSt.]
-A body to compete in teh stop the run sweepstakes.

5[] OT Daniel Inman [Georgia]
-Some young depth at OT behind an aging Pace and Stussie.

6[] LB Oscar Lua [USC]
-Limited athlete that can play the run and special teams.

7[] QB Sam Hollanbach [Maryland]
-A developmental guy that can push the boy genius.

7[] QB/WR Reggie Ball [Georgia Tech]
-A project like Haggans but at this point who cares.

We moved back 7 and get a 3rd and 7th? Not sure the value is right on this one. Just not sure.

Re: Rams Draft

Remeber a few years ago, the Texans wanted our second to trade up to 13 from 19 to select Thomas Davis.

According to the draft charts, a move like that could net us roughly, a 3rd and a 4th.
