I love competition and i most certainly would be for a draft contest BUT 2 things
When you say people lose points for guessing wrong is kinda bad for the contest because lets say my post for the contest is ROund 1 Justin Blackmon and I do not guess for any other round my score is a 10 and most others will have negative points because its so hard to mock players to teams after the 1st.
Also a couple years ago we had a rams mock competition where we earned points if we got the position correct something you might want to look into: Lets say the post is WR alshon Jeffery in the 2nd but we end up taking a different WR like Reuben Randle would we receive points for the cor

You only lose points if you predict a trade up or down and extra picks. If you select the wrong player in round one you get zero points.
I like the thougt of adding the position as a way to earn points. How about half the points for position and then the other half for the player?

Damn......
I thought since he's so tall it's like having two reciever so I changed his name to plural a concept of quantity (i.e., grammatical number) representing a value of more-than-one
If you buy that I got some ocean front property.... lol
Re: Rams draft GURU contest
I'll play, sounds fun.
BW's right, should be like 3 points for position and 7 for player (for example). And each round the points should increase (a 7th round pick is pretty impossible).

O ok i understand
The position point system of half the points is good...O and make sure you clarify the positions like if I guess OT Mike Adams but we draft a guard like Osmele do i get points because i guessed an O-linemen?
EDIT: O and make some sort of tie breaker
