Rams fans should sing: "Fail to the Redskins"

This is the first 2013 Draft thread!

The Rams 2013 draft will be molded by the success or failure of the Washington Redskins, who shipped their first round pick to the Rams (along with their 2014 pick) for the opportunity to draft RGIII.

Based on the schedule, that could be a very high pick.

In addition to 6 tough division games (Giants, Eagles, Cowboys), and a road trip to St. Louis in Week 2, the Redskins have games at New Orleans and Pittsburgh, and home games against Cincinnati, Atlanta and Baltimore (their other games are @Tampa, Minnesota, Carolina and @Cleveland).

With a new QB and a number of holes to fill (without the benefit of a second round pick), I could easily see the Redskins winning 6 or fewer games this year.

Generally speaking, I have nothing against the Redskins. In fact (a bit of personal trivia), I was born in Washington. However, for the next two years, I'm afraid that loyalties dictate that I'll be singing "FAIL TO THE REDSKINS!"

I actually like the Redskins and I love RG3, but I have no choice but to root for every team they play against (Except the Pigeons). I really want the Redskins to get SMASHED in week 2 especially.

I actually live in Silver Spring MD which is right outside DC. Today on a local station fans are actually saying sit rg3 until the second week so he has an easier first game against us. I say let them do it so we can show them what the Rams can really do!

All Rams fans should have a clear second favorite team this year-whoever is playing the redskins!

Definitely can't argue with anything said so far. Av I didn't realize they had such a tough schedule year year. Can you guys imagine if they had the 2nd or 3rd pick and the Rams traded down again? It would be the gift that keeps on giving.

This is business as usual for me. I've always hated the Redskins. Now I have more of a reason to pull for them to suck.

Two first RD this year from the Browns this year, I think NOT! Cam was lights out last year and they still lost a lot of games. If RG3 plays very well there still is a big chance they will lose a lot of games. That being said he could struggle in his first year as many rookies do and we could easily end up with a top 10 pick next year.

I just don't see Shanahan as a good fit for a play making QB.

Why not? Elway liked to use his legs a lot, he's had success with similar QBs. That sais, RGIII isn't Elway, at least not yet, and will be a rookie. Plus I don't think they have a lot of other weapons right now.

Watch out though, they have Adam Carriker! Mr. I was the best defensive lineman on the Rams and they had to order heavier weights for me because I'm so incredible. How can they lose?
