what impact, if any, does the jail sentence imposed on jarred allen (48 hours in jail for a second DUI in the last few months) have on your interest in signing him? No jokes about the symmetry of him on the other side of leonard please.

i dont think we will sign him, just because i see us throwing a lot of money at a bigger name DE like Charles Grant

Jared Allen is a RFA which means the Cheifs will give him a 1st round offer and he is not worth giving up a 1st round pick for when we can sign Justin Smith for nothing.

That and the whole Leonard thing.

He'd be a nice one to have, but I'm bettin' the Chiefs put a high enough tender on him to keep him out of reach........much like we did with Curtis.

Is Charles Grant a FA? If so, the Rams should target him. This guy is a run stopping animal and possess the skill to rush the QB as well.

Personally, I would prefer him over any of the other FA DE's out there. Plus, he has experience with Haslett's defensive schemes.

Charles is indeed an RFA, assuming NO doesn't resign him. And I'm with you on that one.
