Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
Its confirmed, that they want to.
Rams GM Billy Devaney confirmed Friday afternoon that the team is planning to trade the No. 33 overall pick.
With countless needs, the Rams intend to move back and grab more picks. "I would be surprised if we stayed at 33," Devaney said. Indiana's Rodger Saffold, USC's Taylor Mays, Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen, UCLA's Brian Price, Arizona's Rob Gronkowski, and a number of wide receivers would be worth moving up for. Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
ESPN is reporting the Browns and Bills have contacted them (among other teams) which most likely means Clausen is coming off the board. I bet we can move back a few slots, pick up a 3rd and a 5th.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
I could deal with the #33 and barron, to buffalo for the #41, #72, and #140.
Cle - maybe #33 for #38 and #85 (hoping haha)
Cle does have 3 3rd round picks (71,85,92)

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
could see Cleveland going for Kindle aswell..tho they wouldnt have to get ahead of the Vikings to take him i guess..unless they think we might take him of course.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
A lot of reports going around the bills boards that the team has stated it is not interested in a qb round 2, but very much would like Oline help.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
This worked out well for me last time, so I'm going to make non-serious predictions again:
1. Clausen falls to the 3rd round.
2. The Rams take a WR, but not one with the last name Tate.
actually, my second one is serious. I think the Rams are going to trade down and grab a wide receiver that doesn't look like the second coming of Donnie Avery.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
i like trading down...washington, ducasse, carrington or atkins could be available even late in the second, and picking up an extra pick is almost necessary at this point with the roster we have.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
I'm predicting even if we trade down, either Rob Gronkowski, Arrellious Benn, or Damian Williams will be available.

Re: Rams plan to trade top pick in second round
I bet we miss Tate also. I was so effing mad when we skipped Devin Thomas to take Avery but I guess that is why I'm not a football GM. :-D
