    Re: Rams Ready for Combine

As far as the Ray Lewis question goes...will he still be involved in a murder investigation? I have to know before I answer.

If we draft Dorsey, it means we're going to have to be happy with what we have on the offensive line because we *have* to pick a defensive end high this year. If we had done that last year in the second rather than choosing Leonard, we wouldn't have such inflexibility this year. But we cast that die and that's why we're in this position.

If Chris Long is gone, Dorsey is the play. The draft is loaded with decent OL men so I would pass On Jake. I would take Dorsey. I do recall Spoon making a lot of plays when Little went down. With Dorsey and AC in the middle and a healty Little, I think we would get to the QB.

I think it did whenever you posed the question about passing up Ray Lewis because we have Witherspoon. That situation and what we have right now is not very comparable, IMO.

Obviously there are differences between DT and LB, that's not what we're talking about. Of course there's not a direct literal comparison between Dorsey and Lewis. The question pertains to the idea of passing on an emotional leader that can change a game because that position is already being aptly filled by a good player.

Now maybe there are reasons to pass, but I can't say that having the position filled would be one in this case.
