Rams Round 7 Draft Selection -- Case Keenum

The Rams have notoriously wasted late round picks. Often taken guys when there are needs that aren't addressed in Round 6 and 7. We passed on RB#2 often in both of the last two drafts, and were lucky that Danario Alexander went undrafted.

I know this year we have a new staff, and I feel that things will be different, but I think we should target Case Keenum, QB, Houston in the last 2 rounds....

Many drafts have him 7round projection or free agent....

He is never going to be a huge strong armed QB, but can run the WCO and has a great track record....

I am pretty sure we will find a backup QB, but why not this guy...

Keenum leaves Houston as the most productive passer in NCAA history and the Cougars' all-time winningest quarterback (37-14 record as a starter).

I remember I wanted to draft this kid in an early round after the 2009 season.
Oh how I was a nutcase back then. But still, he looks to be a solid backup QB at best so I wouldn't mind that.

He's worth an undrafted free agent, $10,000 signing bonus look. Nothing more.

well when you have a young franchise QB i do not think it is necessary to use a draft pick on any project QB. We can always find a back-up experienced veteran QB

Also im just thinking way choose case Keenum when Kellen Moore is also in the same category

I'll take Brock Osweiler Arizona state. Pure pocket passer with some mobility. Possible 2nd or 3rd round QB in draft.
