The Rams probably have, or will have, scouts watching every top 25 team in the NCAA.

Also of interest to scouts in Thursday's game will be Rutgers junior wide receiver Brandon Coleman. At 6-6, 220 pounds, he has an intriguing combination of size, speed and production. Coleman had 43 receptions for 718 yards (16.7 yards per catch) and 10 TDs last season but has struggled some this season, with 15 receptions for 220 yards (14.7 yards per catch) and two touchdowns. He missed spring drills after what was described as a minor knee surgery, and he hasn't looked as fast as he did last season. Still, at his best, Coleman is physical and quick, and his size poses a huge problem for opposing corners and safeties.
According to this sports writer 26 teams will have scouts there tonight. Not all have a need for a QB I'm sure.

The NFL scouting on quarterbacks is dreadfully shaky. In my opinion Manziel is the best pro qb prospect yet they have him rated lower than Bridgewater and some others. No one saw Joe Montana, Tom Brady or Kurt Warner coming. Yet they thought Akilli Smith, Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf were gong to be great.

maybe most nfl scouts have wised up a bit watching manziel throw so many I-hope-this-works passes that won't work in the nfl lol

I'm not sure anyone except Al Davis thought Russell was going to be great.

I would think he would be the top "Rams need" position at the game last night. Maybe Devante Parker and/or Hakeem Smith.

I'd be more worried if they didn't scout the supposed number 1 overall pick, being in a position where he'd be potentially available. Wouldn't you want to know what exactly your pick should be worth?

Also, Calvin Pryor as others have stated. Cincy probably has a couple players they might want to check out too.

Hilarious considering Manziel is able to shred almost every college defense that is considered tough. He torches Alabama every time he plays them and most would argue that they have more NFL talent on their defense than most teams. Manziel reminds me of a Brees type with better running skills. I didnt say hed be as good as Brees. Brees is pretty good in video games and the NFL.
