Rams showing serious interest in Sheppard?

ESPN's John Clayton reports that three teams are showing serious interest in Eagles CB Lito Sheppard.
Clayton knows that the Rams are one of the teams, despite the appeal of a drug test Fakhir Brown won on Monday. Sheppard will likely cost at least a second-round pick. The Rams' second-rounder is 33rd overall.

Per rotoworld. I would NOT do this for our second rounder, not this year atleast. A fourth or fifth this year with a conditional second or third next year and I won't be mad.

There is no way I'd give more than a 4th round pick period. That's what Oakland got for Moss, and I don't believe Shepperd could make anywhere near the impact Moss made for the Patriots.

I dont want him for free unless it has zero impact financially on our ability to pay jackson. The reason teams dont want him is that he wants clements/assante samuel type money and he has been hurt off and on for three years.

I'd be surprised if anyone parts with a second round pick for Sheppard, particularly us. Wade and Hill are coming on, Bartell did okay, Brown is back and we have a nice spot in the 2nd and 3rd rounds to add to the group if we feel we must. Good point about Moss as well, Sheppard won't make that kind of impact on whichever team he joins.
