Rams Talk with Potential Draft Picks

Rams Talk with Potential Draft Picks
Top college football players from across the country are practicing this week in Mobile, Alabama, for Saturday’s Senior Bowl game, and representatives from NFL teams are meeting with potential draft picks throughout the week.

According to St Louis Insider, the Rams have met with the following players so far (in no particular order):

OG Jonathan Luigs (Arkansas): Interest from Rams, Redskins
DT B.J. Raji (Boston College): He had a long meeting with the Rams.
QB Rhett Bomar (Sam Houston State): Met with the Rams and Eagles.
CB Patrick Chung (Oregon): After already getting interest from the Browns and the Redskins, Chung also drew the interest of the Broncos, Rams and the Giants.
OT Michael Oher (Mississippi): Dolphins, Colts, Rams

Ah Rhett Bomar....the old OU QB who got popped for "allegedly working" at a Norman Auto dealership when he probably didn't. He did have a good year at Sam Houston State and does have talent.

B.J Raji? What round is he projected to go in?

This isn't our final wishlist I'm sure. But a good list no doubt.

    1st round.

Not the 2nd pick (yet), but 1st round still the same.

Walter Football has him listed as a top 15 pick in the 1st rd.

If we take B.J. Raji with the #2 pick when we could've had Dorsey at #2 last year, I'll jump off a cliff. NO WAY is he worth the #2 pick. They are probably looking at him if they trade down, otherwise no way we have a chance at him.

    Long-Raji
    Dorsey-Orakpo

What sounds better? That's why we're not taking him at #2.

Oher, Chung and Luigs are my top three in the mock draft I posted yesterday. Devaney must have read it.

Ill take Long Raji any day. Who had a better year between Dorsey and Long. Long by far had a better year and Dorsey was supposed to be an impact DT, but didn't have an impact providing a pass rush or in the run game. Long is a better prospect than Orakpo and was better against the run.

Raji is a huge dominating NT he reminds me of Albert Haynsworth. He just tosses top prospects like Herman Johnson, Alex Mack, and Max unger. Look at the impact players like Kris Jenkins and Albert Haynesworth make and they are in his mold. When it comes to Raji and Long vs. Orakpo and Dorsey. I'll take the former all day because you will definatel stop the run and have roaming pass rushers on top of only a few sacks less than the other 2 would give you.
