The Rams will trade down in first and second round!
The Rams trade the 6th pick to the Eagles. The Rams receive pick 15 in the first round, Pick 14 in round two. The second pick in the sixth round. A second round pick in 2013.
The Rams select DT Michael Brockers at 15.
The Rams trade pick 33 to Pats for second round picks 48 and 62.
That would give Rams picks
Rd 1
15th
Rd 2
39th from Redskins
46th from Eagles
48th from Patriots
62nd from Patriots
Would most Rams fans like the trade down options.

I would. But you still gotta turn those picks into good players.
Having picks is great. How you Use them is the name of the game.

I dont see the Pats trading up to get the 33rd pick when they have the 27th and 31st already. If anything they'll look to move down from those spots not up in the 2nd.

Who are the Eagles trading up for in that situation?

Not wild about the first round move there.

Re: The Rams will trade down in first and second round!
Rams have many needs as all of us know here. If they can turn this draft into multiple selections based on the fact there's a lot of vaue at WR, DT in the first few rounds, i say we go for it! We've seen year-in ad year-out how teams and players do well in the next two years based on solid picks in the late 1st round, solid 2nd rounders & solid 3rd and 4ths. Find some players and let's get them in here to win!

Only if at 6 Blackmon is gone already. And with the 1st Rd we took a WR.

Re: The Rams will trade down in first and second round!
I'd be curious to see the 1st 14 picks before giving my opinion, as I think Floyd would be available in this scenario. Having said that, let's go with what you have here and Brockers is the 1st round pick. Then....
39 - Reuben Randle, WR
46 - Kevin Zeitler, G
48 - Bobby Wagner, LB
62 - Chris Polk, RB
eh, not bad.Last edited by HUbison; -04-25-2012 at 11:28 AM.

Re: The Rams will trade down in first and second round!
Just using Pats as a example for Rams trading down from first and second round positions.
The big hype right now is Fletcher Cox. It could be Cowboys or anybody wanting to move up.
The only way I would not want Rams to trade down in first is if Blackmon is there or a WHOPPER of a deal like falcons gave for Julio Jones.
Agreed! Only if Blackmon is gone.
Love your picks. The Rams can fill alot of needs with extra picks. Take A. J. Jenkins at 62 and I'll take that draft in a heartbeat.
Why? I like Blackmon the best if not there trade down.
Hey ! Hey ! Hey !
You have one to many CB's taken.
JOKE.
Wouldn't mind two WR's and one CB.
