I think grabbing 3 DT's is too much, but overall its nice! I think JSmooth starts over Datko, and I think if we draft Brockers who I think will be sick, we should not take Jones or Pouha.

I liked the idea of drafting an OT like Datko in the 4th to compete with J. Smith. If Smith makes a comeback we didn't waste a high pick this year on another OT and if he dont we have some insurance. We only save a little over 2 mil by cutting J. Smith and we would need to spend that money on a backup anyway that is why I chose to keep him and draft Datko in the 4th. As far as who starts it would be an open position come camp but I would think if J. Smiths head is right then he would probably start as you said.

Why would you not want three DT's. Basically I am just replacing an old Hall with a young Hall (Jones 25) that can play inside or out. He like Hall is only 280 but he can move outside on running downs if need be and inside on passing downs. I am upgrading another DT spot going from Robbins to a better run stuffing DT in Pouha. The last DT would be a big young DT that would replace Gary Gibson and provide more pressure from the inside (Brockers). We need to upgrade our DT position and replace Hall. The three DT's I chose would not cost much more then what we had and would set us up better for the next few years.

Overall I like, however seeing Brady Poppinga in that lineup makes me want to hurl, and we could use the money or pick spent on one of those 3 DTs on a second OLB upgrade.

I like the draft. I dont think theyll go for more then 2 DT's but if we get 3 then we'll have a brand new interior which wouldnt be bad.

You really think theyd keep Poppinga over Chamberlain? i rather keep Chamberlain in my opinion, he showed he could at least be solid. He wont be grat but ill take solid over Poppinga.
