RamView Mock Draft
If you haven't had quite enough mock drafts yet, the 2006 RamView Accu-Draft (har) is at www.ramview.com.
I'm settling for Jimmy Williams at 11 and I thought Marcedes Lewis could make it to 46, so I took him there. Oh well, Joel Klopfenstein should be good, too.
My no-chance-of-being-right 7-round summary:
1 / 11 – Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech
2 / 46 – Marcedes Lewis, TE, UCLA
3 / 77 – Mark Anderson, DE, Alabama
4 / 109 – Kyle Williams, DT, LSU
5 / 144 – Brandon Williams, WR, Wisconsin
6 / 183 – Brandon Johnson, LB, Louisville
7 / 221 – Taurean Henderson, RB, Texas Tech
7 / 242 – Clint Ingram, LB, Oklahoma
7 / 243 – D.J. Smith, WR, Idaho
The Texans are on the clock!

Re: RamView Mock Draft
I like Taurean Henderson, just because my University team uses Texas Techs play book, so ive seen a lot of film on him.

Re: RamView Mock Draft
Mike, i respect your opinion a lot and you havent posted much up to this point if at all on the draft. when you took williams at 11 for us, who did you pass? Was ngata or bunkley on the board at that point? I will assume the obvious that The Hawk and Huff were both gone. Was cutler on the board? Did you consider a trade down or up?
ramming speed to you and yours

Re: RamView Mock Draft
I thought he'd have been graded higher than 6th-7th round. I don't know many RBs more qualified to step in and be a 3rd-down back.

Re: RamView Mock Draft
Total guesses, of course...
I had Hawk, Huff, all 3 QBs and Bunkley gone. I had Ngata go at #12. I don't think they'll take Ngata; they should have just kept Pickett. I would have taken Ngata because I'm not real confident in the defensive line. I like Hill over Williams, too, I just figure the size difference will make Williams look like a safer pick.
