Rank the Rams' Needs
I think most would agree that the Rams' top needs this offseaon, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, are:
Offensive Guard
Wide Receiver
Running Back (back-up/future starter)
4-3 Pass Rusher (DE or DT)
Outside LB
Cornerback (depth)
Strong Safety
How would you rank these needs in terms of priority?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Rank the Rams' Needs
My ranking would probably be...
Wide Receiver
Outside LB
4-3 Pass Rusher (DE or DT)
Offensive Guard
Running Back (back-up/future starter)
Strong Safety
Cornerback (depth)
Though when I look at it, I feel like RB should be a bit higher.

Re: Rank the Rams' Needs
1. Wide receiver
2. Outside linebacker
3. Offensive Guard
4. Backup RB
5. Cornerback depth
6. Strong Safety
7. 4-3 Pass Rusher
Reason why I brought the DE dead last is because I'd like to give George Selvie a chance to develop alongside Chris Long. The guy's really fast and physical, all he needs is development and experience. With the concerns of injury on Bartell, I'd bring it up a little unless Jerome Murphy can become a reliable threat out of the nickel coverage.

Re: Rank the Rams' Needs
1. olb
2. wr - i like alexander's potential if he can stay healthy, and i wonder about that. still i believe the possibility is there so i'll move it down a notch
3. guard
4. pass rusher - i believe these two are basically a wash as far as how much of a need it is, we absolutely need both
5. backup rb
6. corner depth
7. safety depth - at the corner and safety spots i like the guys we already have and some of the young guys so i don't see either spot as a huge need, but i wouldn't mind seeing us take a chance on a guy that will make us even better at those spots

7. CB
I think there's an argument for pushing guard up to #2, specifically RG but outside LB needs to be addressed. WR goes without saying but if anyone did need to be convinced, I'd point to the Detroit game.

My ranking:
1. WR
2. Outside LB
3. Guard
4. Pass rushing DE
5. Backup RB
6. Safety
7. Cornerback depth
I'm hoping that a linebacker could be picked up in free agency and I think the rest can be drafted

I'd have liked to make an amendment to that list so that it reads: 'Red Zone Threat' instead of 'Wide Receiver' at the very top. I wouldn't have a problem if that player was a tight end, nor would I be upset if we neglected WR completely in round one if the value wasn't there. I will say that I think we should board the Ingram Express if he's available.

Re: Rank the Rams' Needs
Wide Reciever
Strong Safety
Offensive Guard
Back-up RB
Outside Linebacker
4-3 pass rusher
CB depth
I dont understand why safety is ranked so low on many peoples list. Spags is so successful with his blitzing schemes which requires us to have a good secondary so our guys can get to the QB. if we put a good cover safety next to OJ out D will greatly benefit. OG is high on my list because i like the idea of protecting Bradford.
