Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
I voted excellent we had a great Draft IMO.
1. Alex Barron RT (Starter that has solidified our RT)
2. Ronald Bartell Jr DB (Versatile player that has taken great strides)
3. Oshiomogho "O.J." Atogwe S (Starter that is starting to come into his own)
3. Richie Incognito G (Starter that will solidfy what ever position we put him at on the OL)
4. Jerome Carter S (Did not show as much last year. He is the one I am least impressed with. However he is a 4th round pick.)
4. Claude Terrell G (He showed solid play at the guard position in his first year and was good at run blocking. Injury and attitude could stop him or he could have a break out year. Stay tuned.)
(The following three are no longer with us)
5. Jerome Collins TE
6. Dante Ridgeway
6. Reggie Hodges
7. Ryan Fitzpatrick QB (Showed good potential when Bulger went down)
7. Madison Hedgecock FB (Has shown good ability and started several games)

Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
Other than Collins, Ridgeway, and Hodges, it was a good draft. With all of Claude's nonsense he could be lumped in with those 3 also, but that remains to be seen depending on what we do with him this year.
BRUUUUUUUUCE

Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
I think this draft was the best during the martz tenure,to get 8 players that have started games from a single draft is no mean feat!
i voted good!

Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
Though oddly this is a draft that is still on the "potential" side, more even than 2006.
Barron, Bartell, and Incognito could all develop nicely (each has a different measure of growing up to do).
Fitzpatrick might make a good back-up qb.
Atogwe may have maxed out, he may have room to grow.
As a rule, if you get 3 starters from a draft, you gotta call it good.

Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
This draft was excellent imo. We got a lot of very solid players from it, including Incognito and Barron. If Barron can cut down his false starts and Cogs can control his temper, both could be Pro-Bowlers.

Re: Rate the 2005 Draft
ATAGWE , may have maxed out , may have room to grow . that is like standing outside on a partly cloudy day and saying we could get rain , or we might get a sunny day . he is making great strides , and continues to improve . this year or next , he very well could be an elite safety in the league .
