Ravens | Newsome loves Huff's skills
Sun, 19 Feb 2006 14:34:01 -0800
Mike Preston, writing for the Sporting News, reports Texas S Michael Huff could be the Baltimore Ravens' first-round draft pick in April. Reportedly, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome loves the guy, and the Ravens need to replace S Will Demps. Ruff has good coverage skills and is versatile enough to play receivers one-on-one in the slot.

Re: Ravens | Newsome loves Huff's skills
As much as I hoped we would draft Huff before, this really seals the deal. Newsome is a savvy talent evaluator. He drafted Ogden and Ray Lewis in his first draft ever who are both future HOFs. Adding Huff to a healthy Butler would be a great start on "stopping" opposing offenses.

Unless it's another one of those draft day fakes that FO's love to perpetrate from time to time.
