I can't help but think that would be a GREAT deal. An NFL proven player and still picking number 8...wow. As much as I'm a C. Long fan, I don't see how a deal that includes Suggs and still stay inside the top 10 could be a losing proposition.

Who would we pick at 8? Ryan Clady if hes there? I'd take Suggs and Clady! Sedrick Ellis?

But as Ramsplaya 16 & RFS have pointed out, Suggs hasn't registered double digit sacks since 04. He only had 5 last year.

This would be a great deal Suggs and a top ten pick. If somehow some way we could get Ellis also that would be an outstanding 1st round.
Our DL would be:
DE Little
DT Carriker
DT Ellis
DE Suggs

We would still have the second round and the rest of our picks.

Suggs hasn't been impreseive the past few years sack wise. If we got Suggs and Ellis a 3-4 doesn't look that bad maybe a little better than a 4-3

jamaal brown is a far, far better player than suggs and is signed for a longer term
