    Ray Lewis

I really want the Rams to sign him. Given he is asking for a lot of money but he brings more then any linebacker you will see in a Rams uniform for the next five years. He is a freak player, and not only that he is an emotional leader who can ignite a defense with his mouth. The Rams got the emotional coach that isn't afraid to yell and isn't passive, lets get that leader on defense.

    Re: Ray Lewis

At this point in Ray's career I'm thinking he wants to win. While I'm sure everyone on here believes the Rams can turn it around, I highly doubt Ray Lewis has that much faith in us.

That being said, he is one of the best MLB's of all time, and the best of his generation. Sure he is on the downside of his career, no one can argue that he wouldn't make our defense better and more credible.

But all in all, he is not the long term answer, and I don't think we can afford to pay him for 2-3 years while we rebuild. If we were one MLB away from winning the Super Bowl, its a no brainer, but in reality we are not.

I agree with C-Mob. While I would love to see Ray Ray running around in the middle, I really think we need to think long-term here.

They used to have a show called "In Their Own Words" or something like that. Anyway, the one with Ray Lewis is great. Check it out if it's ever on.
