Is it realistically possible for us to get both of Clevelands picks

Assuming Snead plays his cards right, do you guys think Cleveland is interested in the #2 pick? Or would they be fine staying at #4. I feel like with the new coach, they would be interested in trading up and getting a QB (Bridgewater or Manziel). But hoping is different than it actually being possible. What do you guys think?

If so, I love the idea of Barr at #4, Mike Evans at #13, Calvin Pryor or OL at 26, and Safety or OL in 2nd round depending on who we get at 26.

    Thoughts?

I think CLE is the Rams most realistic trade partner; Manziel seems to be picking up steam and if Houston takes Clowney I can see the Browns trading up to get their man. If that were to happen, my dream scenario would be the Rams going with either Matthews or Robinson at #4, Gilbert or Dennard at #13, and Calvin Pryor at #26.

The only way I can see that happening is if (1) the Browns fall in love with a particular QB, (2) that QB is not selected by Houston, and (3) that QB is believed by Cleveland to be a likely target at #3.

Not impossible, but I wouldn't count on it.

If they see a Franchise QB, after Houston's pick is made, I could definitely see this trade happening.

Think of it from the Brown's point of view. They have dynamic, talented pieces already installed into that offense.

If they fall for a QB that's still on the board at 2, they have to worry about..
    A) A team trading up to the 2 spot and taking that QB
    B) The Jaguars taking that QB at the 3 spot
    C) Another team trading up to the 3 spot to select that QB

So, basically, if come draft day they have a QB on their board who they fall in love with, why not use their ammo and secure him. It adds up fairly close on the draft value chart as well (2nd=2600, 4+26=2500). From the looks of the value chart, we might even get a little cherry on top, especially if there's other buyers for our pick.

This is my personal dream scenario for the draft, because it would almost certainly leave us with either Matthews or Robinson, even after the trade down.

Great deal for both sides, just like the RG3 deal.

I've mentioned this before, but I would start talks at #4 overall and their 2015 1st. Their 1st round pick next year is almost guaranteed to be higher than #26 unless Cleveland magically becomes a playoff team. If they balk at that price then I would compromise and ask for both 1sts this year.
Torry Holt and RosieJones like this.

Exactly, I'd much rather have their 1st next year than the 26th this year. I'm not sure how the points would match up, but maybe they'd have to throw in an extra 3rd or 4th rounder this year to make it work.

Cleveland has no clue what in the world they are doing.

Even more FO changes occurred in Cleveland (today, i think) in which the GM and others were terminated. From last year's draft committee for the Browns, only one dude remains (i forget his name. Jimmy H. or something) to go along with the new head coach.

So anything with Cleveland is in the cards, because they have no idea what they'll be doing, and it'll be some time before they do

It's even less likely we get them now with the front office changes.

    LOL! Good one KoaKoi.

No doubt, CLE Browns may be the team in worst turmoil right now. Let's see how this affects the Rams come Draft time.
