Redskins' pick looking better and better...

The Redskins' first round pick, which the Rams own, is currently the 6th pick in the draft (1. Jacksonville, 2. Minnesota, 3. Atlanta, 4. Tampa, 5. Houston)

Looking at the Redskins' remaining schedule (2 games against NYG, Dallas, KC, SF, Atl), it could stay in that range, or even get better.

Meanwhile, while Jacksonville has the look of a team that will hold on to the 1st spot, Tampa is playing better, and the other three teams could certainly pick up a game or two on the Redskins.

If the Rams end up with a pick in the top 3-4 selections, I could see them once again trading down to a QB starved team and piling up even more selections.

While RGIII is having a Sophomore slump, his trade seems to be the gift that keeps on giving.

Not been a fan of RG the 3rd and happy to see the skins skidding down the ladder where they probably belonged last season. At least they gave their fans some thrills last year. They were and are still a very over rated team. Hoping for that top 5 pick as well! And I believe they will deliver...

I'm sorry, but I'll have to root for the Redskins over SF. Other than that, I hope they lose out and we can once again get quality (or quantity) out of the draft.

Those Giants games are no longer gimmes, and I can reasonably see the 'skins winning two from the remaining schedule. I hope that puts us right around Jake Matthews range, though I'm afraid he'll shoot up to top 3 after some of the top QBs elect to stay in school.

Things really seem to be going downhill for RG3-7.

Meanwhile, for those keeping score (and not even counting the players - R.Watkins and I.Pead - who didn't work out), the Rams have turned the 2012 second pick into Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Alec Ogletree, Stedman Bailey, Zac Stacy and the 2014 Redskins first round pick.

Rooting against them is such a great subplot this season. They are really unlikeable too. Makes rooting against them even easier. Heres to 3-13.

That is a brutal schedule for the remaining season. I just wanted to add a list of the other teams remaining schedule.

Tampa Bays schedule is also tough
Lions, Panthers, Bills, Whiners, Rams and Saints

Jacksonville has a soft schedule but is a really bad team
2x Texans, Browns, Bills, Titans, Colts

    Houston
2x Jaguars, Patriots, Colts, Broncos, Titans

Atlanta meet the Redskins in what could be an important game.
Saints, Bills, Packers, Redskins, Whiners, Panthers

    Minnesotas remaining schedule is brutal
Packers (without Rodgers), Bears, Ravens, Eagles, Bengals, Lions

Looking at these schedules I think Houston and Atlanta could move ahead of the Redskins. Houstons division has a terrible record, so they probably only need as many wins as the Redskins (because first tie-breaker is strengt of schedule) but we will see.

It's going to be hard but I will pull for the whiners, the pick has more weight for me. If we where making a run I would pull for the skins. That said I'm going to feel good after this game no matter who wins. Both QBs have been so over hyped and one is about to lose again and slip further into a tail spin.
