Adding to the off-topic, I kind of hibernated for a little while after realizing how wrong I was (still love Vick though) , and it affected my rep..I jumped on the Bradford bandwagon, and am glad to be back outta the whiner red rep :D

Great pass rusher spags really maximized his pro bowl ability. I would consider giving up to a third for him

To see if Osi is good value for a third round pick, let's compare other pass rushers that should be available in the third round.


There is:

Corey Wooten (Northwestern)

Jermaine Cunninghman (Florida)

Austen Lane (Murray State)



I'm not high on Wooten, and thinks he is a better fit for a 3-4 scheme. He's not quick and fast enough to be a RE in the NFL in my opinion.

I would take Osi over him.


However, Cunningham and Lane are two very good DEs. I think I would take Osi over Cunningham, but with Lane's upside, I think I would take Lane over Osi.

He's proven in Spag's defense, yes, but last year, his level of production dropped. Idk that I would necessarily trade him for a 3rd round pick when there are high upside guys like Austen Lane still available.


But, if we do trade for Osi, I wouldn't mind. He might play better when reunited with his former DC.

yes agreed, I do think he will play MUCH better with his former DE, the Giants didn't lose much on the front 4, so I do wonder why his production dropped last year.

Because they barely understood Bill Sheridan's defensive system.

idk... 3rd round pick is awfully high... but if he can have 5 more productive years and Spags knows exactly what he's getting...then I feel okay about it.

I would give a 4 for him.


I really think he should be able to play many years under Spags. And he fits a big need and would also help Long get better. I really hope this is more than just a rumor.
