ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that the Seahawks are Minnesota's primary competition for free agent Sidney Rice.
NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora says both teams are "deep in talks" with Rice's representatives. The Vikings aren't going to let their downfield threat go without a strong fight, but the Seahawks are "pushing hard, pending a physical," according to Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 Twin Cities.

Man i hope he at least eats up all of their cap room if they get him. Bartell can shut him down but that would be another problem to deal with...

I agree here. I honestly think Bartell would bully him. He takes on a big receiver like Fitzgerald and takes him out. He can take out Rice no questions asked, though I do still prefer he goes somewhere else.Quote:
