Rolando McClain released
He has been in some trouble. He did body slam Amendola. He is very aggressive. He is an ILB.
But
Is he worth picking up and transitioning him to OLB. 23 years old and just drafted 10th overall 2010.
What do you guys think?

Re: Rolando McClain released
Id give a look, seeing how young he is. Ultimately, I don't care either way. If they give him a look and an audition for the last few games cool, if not no sweat.

I wonder if him and Amendola would get along.

Re: Rolando McClain released
No thank you. While he is young and talented, he seems like he is more of a headache than anything. The Rams already have some potential misfits on their roster. I don't think someone like McClain would be a good person for Jenkins and Givens to be around. I will admit that this seems to be an unfair assumption that Givens and Jenkins would get into trouble because of this guy, yet I can't help but his presence would be more trouble than he is worth. However, everybody deserves a second chance and there is no one who can say with any certainty that McClain could not resurrect his image on the Rams. With that being said, I would still say no to a rebel like McClain. Unless of course, that McClain is John McClane lol.

Re: Rolando McClain released
Well he actually hasn't even been cut. The whole bravado that happened on his Facebook wall was completely erased. Its possible that he was hacked, or he was just stupid enough to post all that crap.
He is still a Raider at this time. Perhaps tomorrow he will be released, but at this specific time he still is a Raider.
And I think I'll pass. Even one of the most known for cheap shot artists in NFL History (Bill Romanowski) had this to say about McClain :
" Thank God I don't have to watch Rolando McClain anymore! It is an honor and a privilege to play and he was an embarrassment not only to the Raiders and to all the warriors who worked their asses off. Sorry but I am glad not to see him play again...hopefully EVER! "

Re: Rolando McClain released
Up to this point he has only been kicked out of practice, but if he is released I wouldn't mind giving him a look potentially signing him if things look good and attempt to transfer him to OLB. I think him and Jo Lonn would get along quite well.

Re: Rolando McClain released
He didn't just body slam Danny. He rock bottomed him.... And it couldn't hurt to look at former first round talent even if its just for the remainder of this season.
