Re: Roscoe Parrish
That is what I'm saying.. he's got speed like Avery and he's young but experienced. Better immediate impact than anyone else we can get at 4 or 5.

Re: Roscoe Parrish
i dont know...i dont see him as being our "number 1" wideout..we already got 2,3,& 4 sorted..
i think id rather keep the draft pick/s and address another position of need..if we want a big sloppy guy at NT that Billy D has stated in the near past and doesnt want to spend either of our top two picks on one (for Raji,Jerry & Brace) then in the 4th and 5th round range is where a couple should be available..prospects like Terrance Knighton,Myron Pryor etc... and thats not including all the other good prospects that will likely be available at other positions of need.
im all for picking a proven young vet over an unproven draft prospect but in this case i dont think the young vet in question has proved enough to decline rolling the dice with a draft pick.
if Billy D & Spags decide to make a deal with the Bills then i`ll support the decision..is not one i would make tho..

Re: Roscoe Parrish
I say yes.. He is one of the best punt returners in the league. We could use someone like him on special teams..

Re: Roscoe Parrish
Like we don't have enough speed at WR. We are also small at WR adding a 5'9 guy doesnt really help that. Robinson is our only guy over 6 feet and Burton is barely 6 ft.
I'm not giving up a 4th or 5th, but I would give up a 6th or 7th to bring him in to add a spark in the return game and maybe occasionally a slot guy. Even though he is younger than Dante Hall I wouldn't give up more than we did for him.

Re: Roscoe Parrish
I think it is great to jump on the "potential" bandwagon and look at taking a sleeper superstar in the late rounds but how often does this happen? Almost never. At least Parrish has proven himself to be a grade A return man and a good deep threat at wideout. I don't think there is anything to lose!
Any WR we take in the draft is not going to make an immediate impact - Royal and Avery were the few that did anything last year.

Re: Roscoe Parrish
you kinda totally by-passed my point about other positions of need with that draft pick....id take a NT,SAM,OT or any other position of need prospect over someone to compete for our 3rd or 4th spot!! wouldnt a starting NT in the 4th be of more value to us than "depth"?
he can play the slot position..everyone of our current crop of WR`s have the tools to play the slot position well..we need something different!
just my view anyway...im sure Billy D will do whats best for the Rams.

Re: Roscoe Parrish
Keenan Burton was a pretty good returner in college. I would give him a try.

Re: Roscoe Parrish
NO, we only need a WR with size and strength. We have complimentary recievers and if he cannot line up along size avery to start the game, he is not an option.
NO is the only answer here

Re: Roscoe Parrish
I really think we need a big receiver. Bennett had me excited cuz he's a larger target, but if he cant catch it, what good does it do for us?
I know we have McMichael and Fells, but we could use a nice WR who is fast, tall and possesses great hands.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!
