    RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

    2014 NFL Free Agents
    By Nick Mensio

With access to NFL Players Association data, Rotoworld can generate the most accurate free agent list on the internet. The free agents below are listed loosely in order of how we see them being valued on the open market.

Keep in mind that franchise tags will inevitably deplete the top of the market. New Orleans' Jimmy Graham is an obvious franchise tagee after a mammoth 2013 season. Browns safety T.J. Ward will receive strong franchise-tag consideration as well.

2014 free agency will commence on the afternoon of March 13.

I have always been a big Anthony Dixon fan. Seems he has never been given an opportunity. He could be a solid backup and goal line back.

Re: RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

All depends on the prices, and Saffold might work, but Nicks will be both out of our price range and comes with plenty of injury issues as well. No thanks, even though we could use a known playmaker.

Actually, the guy I would target at WR? Kenny Britt. We swung and missed(and dumped quickly, thankfully) on Titus Young, why not bring in Britt for a look see since he's going to be cheap as hell? We can get the whole analysis from Fisher's good buddy Munchak too.

Re: RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

There are some very good corners, safeties and defensive tackles set to hit the market. Didn't Jason hatcher just put up like 11 sacks this year from DT? DRC was great against the Chargers last night and Vontae Davis was ranked as something like the #3 corner by PFF (although he looked to be running in slow motion when Tavon ran past him)

Re: RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

    A couple of thoughts:

    1. TJ Ward could be a very good substitute for the pricey Jarius Byrd.
    2. I think Sam Shields should be a target for the Rams.
    3. If they are wanting to bring in a 2-down SAM, I don't see a better choice than what we already have in Dunbar.
    4. Bring Ziggy Hood back to Missouri. I think the Steelers let him walk, and a return to a 4-3 UT would rejuvanate his career.
    5. Saffold may want to consider marketing his short OG career rather than his OT career. He's the #6 OT on this list, but he may well be the #1 or #2 OG on this list. Will the #6 OT get paid as much as the #1 OG. Just something for him (and his agent) to think about.

Re: RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

    1. Never go after the highest price guy in free agency... didn't like it with Long last year, don't like it this year. Though I must say that I'm not very enamored with this year's safety class.
    2. I'd be all for that.
    3. Probably true, and he already knows our system, probably will be fairly cheap, given his low production and suspension
    4. Steelers don't have money for him, so he'll be free. Don't know his market.
    5. Been thinking the same thing. I'm sure that they'll be trying to market him as a starter at 4 positions... "Not only do you get a tackle, but we'll throw in a guard as well, and if you sign him right now, he'll play left OR right!"

Re: RotoWorld's 2014 Free Agent Rankings

Forget the rankings, not the best job, not the worst.....more importantly, there are many players that can help the Rams, especially at the right price. This will be the off-season that will make or break Jeff Fisher's tenure as Rams HC.

As long as Sam is back healthy, we are primed and expected to take the jump for above avg. team to highly competitive playoff caliber squad.

I think CB will be a high need in free agency along with a vet WR.....

This is a exciting time to be a Rams fan as the team is ready to make its mark
