Saints/Falcons trade possibilities
Lets say the Saints get the Rams #2 spot.
The Rams get the Saints #10 and #40 pick while retaining their #33 picks.
Your first two rounds could look like this:
#10 Keith Rivers, OLB, USC
#33 Sam Baker, OT, USC
#40 Cliff Avril, DE, Purdue or Donnie Avery, WR, Houston
Lets say the Falcons get the Rams #2 spot.
The Rams get their #3 and their #35 while retaining their #33.
Your first two rounds could look like this:
#3 Chris Long, Jake Long or Vernon Gholston
#33 Quentin Groves, OLB, Auburn, Dan Connor, MLB, Penn State or Jerod Mayo, MLB, Tenn.
#35 James Hardy, WR, Indiana, Earl Doucet, WR, LSU. Could also use the spots to get a OT and CB.
Both scenarios are very attractive.

Re: Saints/Falcons trade possibilities
I like #2 alot more because we still get one of the fab 4. One of the four guys are ones I want in a Rams uniform. Preferably Chris Long.
The reason why I don't like the first scenario is we don't get a DE until round 3. I think DE is our need in the first round

Re: Saints/Falcons trade possibilities
I think #2 is a better option too. I heard that if you use the NFL's trade value chart the Rams #2 pick is worth 2600 pts and the Saints #10 is worth 1300 points. The Saints 2nd round pick is worth 490 points.
That still leaves a disparity of 800 points. So at a minimum the Saints would have to toss in a 3rd round pick as well, which would bring it a little closer but not even.
So my question is this. Would you take the Saints deal if they tossed in a 3rd rounder, giving the Rams the #10, #33, #40, #65 AND #74.
That is a top ten pick in round 1 and two top ten picks in rounds 2 and 3.
That could fill a lot of needs at a cheaper cost, while still getting top ten talent in each round.
