Sakl18's Mock Offseason With Multiple Trade Downs
A few notes:
- I'm going with the recent reports that Fisher wants to keep/work with Smith and Saffold at tackle
- After the cuts listed below and a few restructures/extensions I'm assuming we have 20-25 million in cap space
- I'm basing my mock draft and who is available on the Walterfootball mock
Cuts
- Josh Brown
- Fred Robbins
- James Butler
- James Hall
Free Agents
- Vincent Jackson, WR, San Diego
- Grab a big, true number one for Bradford to work with
- Aubrayo Franklin, DT, New Orleans
- A big, run stuffing DT who Greg Williams brings over from the Saints
- After generating surprisingly little interest on the open market last year, he will come cheap
- Brings the ability to plug in and be a two down starter
- Manny Lawson, OLB, Cincinnati
- A solid linebacker with great speed who is strong against the run and in coverage, but offers limited pass rush
- Played well for Cincinnati in his first year in a 4-3 after struggling as a pash rushing 3-4 OLB for the Whiners
- Connor Barth, K, Tampa Bay
- Only 26, and hit 26 of 28 last year, including 13 of 14 from 40-49 and 2 of 3 from 50 plus
- An improvement over Josh Brown in both age and production
- Reggie Smith, S, San Fransisco
- Provides depth at safety, and brings knowledge of the whiners system
Trades
- I'm using the current reported price for RG3 in the trade with Washington
- I'm trying something new in trading down multiple times
1.2 to Washington for 1.6, 2.6, 3.6, and 2013 1st round
- The Redskins and Dan Snyder make a blockbuster deal for their franchise QB
1.6 to Cincinnati for 1.17, 2.17 and 3.17
- Cincinnati reportedly has interest in moving up for Trent Richards, and they do so here
2.1 to Philadelphia for 2.13 and 2.18
- The trade value chart is off here, but the Eagles move up to grab Zach Brown, who falls out of circumstance.
Draft
1.17 - Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
2.6 - Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
2.13 - Kendall Reyes, DT, Connecticut
2.17 - Kelechi Osmele, G/T, Iowa State
2.18 - Mychal Kendricks, OLB, California
3.2 - LaVonte David, OLB, Nebraska
3.6 - Chris Polk, RB, Washington
3.17 - Phillip Blake, C, Baylor
4.1 - Derek Wolfe, DT, Cincinnati
6.1 – Ronnie Hillman, RB, San Diego State
7.2 - Greg McCoy, CB/KR, TCU

Re: Sakl18's Mock Offseason With Multiple Trade Downs
Not to bad, dont know if we'd take 2 rb's though, Besides that got some major upgrades on there. I like the Vjax and Floyd combo we'd have.
