Saturday Morning signings
Whiners sign Justin Smith to a 6 year $45 million dollar deal.
ESPN - ***** lock up defensive end Smith with 6-year, $45 million deal - NFL
Lions trade rogers to Browns not Cinnci as originally reported. Trade includes a 3rd rounder and Leigh Bodden.
ESPN - Instead of Bengals, Browns land DT Shaun Rogers from Lions - NFL
Faneca signs with Jets to a four-year, $32 million deal that includes roughly $23 million in guarantees

Scratch two more potentials from our list, soon we will be down to TE's and RB's although perhaps thats Losehans plan??!!

Re: Saturday Morning signings
I don't trust Justin Smith and I doubt he'll be any good in Whiner land as he's not really 3-4 material.
I wouldn't touch Rogers with a 10 foot pole. He's awesome in Madden though...
I'm extremely happy that Faneca's off the market. Bell will be better, especially as that 23 million guaranteed is crazy, simply crazy. Almost 6 million/year in just signing bonus.

Re: Saturday Morning signings
Where do the freakin niners get all this money to sign these guys. Nate Clemens, Bruce, Smith, 4 first round picks in the last 2 years, plus Alex Smith, Larry Allen, Mike Brown. And they keep getting to coach the senior bowl! God I hate the Niners.

Re: Saturday Morning signings
Which is fine by me, as the Skins have tons of skill players but can't use them and don't give enough attention to their lines.
Oh, and part of the way they afford these signings is that they have an extra 2.3 million on the cap.
P.S. The Rams, have an extra 632,320 on the cap, thanks to bonuses that counted on last year's cap but weren't earned, and so they are added to this year's.
