Say We Draft Bradford..
Do we sit him out the whole year like packers did with Aaron Rodgers, Throw him into the fire like the Lions did with Matthew Stafford or ease him in to the lineup like..can't think of an example sorry..
My Opinion:
I think the rams would most likely ease him in but who knows, but the signing of AJ Feely IMO gives me the idea that they'll play him first couple of weeks then put in Bradford. Honestly i'd be against sitting him out the whole year because of all the money we would pay him. I would like to see whoever we pick number one overall play at least this season even if it's half a season. The only way i see the Rams throwing Bradford into the fire is if Feely gets injured during the pre-season which I hope does not happen.
Side Note:
I don't like how people(usually non-ram fans) say that the Rams shouldnt draft Bradford because of our O-Line. In my opinion our O-Line is better than the Lions O-Line when they drafted Matt Stafford. Just a little sidenote

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
Normally I would say let the best QB in camp start the season, even if it is a rookie.
But in the case of Bradford I would prefare to ease him in.
Let the O-line gel together and let our WR's get some games under their belt before we consider putting him in.
The main reason is that I am scared to reinjure Bradford. So at least the O-line should be up to full speed and our still young WR's should be able to handle our playbook mistake free.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
Sit him until after the bye week like tampa did with their rookie QB.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
I would sit him in the hole year except for the games against the Lions/Bucs/Raiders/Chiefs/Redskins lol =)

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
Open competition during training camp. Feeley should win that, then over a few weeks Bradford's learning curve should catch up.
"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
Let Feeley or Null be starter, let Bradford take a few snaps during those games and after bye week, we throw him in the pit of fire and have faith the guy will come back with his shoulder still healthy.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
My opinion is different.
I chose start him from day 1.
By all the research and everything Bradford is not coaky or arrogant. It seems like he is team player. We name a starter at all but we all know Bradford will start week1 and most likely week 4 of pre-season.
We make sure he will be ready for the season opener then let him go.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
By drafting him #1 OA there will be pressure from everywhere to start this guy, and when we start 0-2 in the preseason because Feely is , well Feely, the pressure will mount and I think we will see him very early. If Null shows good improvement and can start a few games that would help.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
I hope null starts over feely, at least until we think bradford is ready to play.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
i dont understand why people would want null to start over feeley n bradford to start the season. if he is good enough to win the starting job from feeley n bradford in camp then shouldnt he be our quarterback of the future because he isnt going to do anything but get better and gain experience while starting...just sayin

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
Get better is a relative term, how much better does he get. Kyle Boller was still young, did he get good enough to be a good QB? Didn't seem like it to me. Finding a good quarterback isn't just an equation that you can plug X into. X + starts + young = quarterback of the future. Some guys just don't have it.

Re: Say We Draft Bradford..
if we drqaft Sadford, and he doesnt start-- then dont draft him at all, when a player like Suh can transition into DT and start much more easily.
I keep hearing that QB is the most important postion that yields the greatest impact on the team, and that is why the Rams are going to draft Sadford---
well if he hardly plays then why not wait til next year, or a later round to draft a qb? This is another conundrum that I scratch my head about regarding this organization.
