So now the Lions want to move up? Okay, here's the asking price.

There are now rumblings that the Lions have interest in either Jadeveon Clowney or Sammy Watkins, and would like to trade up to the No. 2 spot.

    Seriously?

    Fine. I'll play along.

I would trade down to the 10th pick in exchange for the Lions' 2014 and 2015 second round picks AND second year OG Larry Warford.

    Too much?

    Then take a hike, Detroit.

this would be a good trade

but no 2015 first rounder instead of larry warford as an alternative?

i mean...either way the rams can snatch a good player

I like the idea of a proven player in Warford, who the Rams reportedly would have drafted had they missed out on Ogletree.

I doubt they give up their youthful starting guard who played really well, however wanting a boatload of pics in exchange that could work out nicely! Stock piling for the future ala the RG the third trade would work. Give us all those second rounders and throw in some firsts too! Something like our 2nd for their 10th, 2nd this year and firsts for 2014 and 2015 that would do it nicely! Roops left out that 2014 2nd rounder better throw that in too or Les might say no! LOL

I'd love to see what a line of Clowney, Suh, Fairley, and Ansah do in the NFL. But to drop to ten... man, now you're talking about possibly missing out not only on Robinson, Matthews, Clowney, Mack, and Watkins, but maybe Lewan and Evans too.

Ten is a long way down from 2. Let's just hope that all parties remember that, if we were so inclined to trade down that far. I'm not so much hung up on who'll be there at 10 (there'll be a great player), as much as I am wanting to get the proper compensation for doing so.
