AV's math problem here makes more sense than the Common Core!

Since this is one of those fake 'magic" deals that everyone over 12 knows ALWAYS comes out to the same number, all this sillyness is merely your prediction, your opinion of the Rams pick, if I guess they don't trade.

Don't get the subterfuge, that's all.

Um... no, it isn't. Its a simple word problem. All that is required to solve it are the following: (1) basic math skills, (2) an interest in learning a couple of interesting facts about St. Louis and (3) access to Google.

all this sillyness is merely your prediction, your opinion of the Rams pick, if I guess they don't trade.
Actually, as others have noticed, its not my prediction or my opinion.

Don't get the subterfuge, that's all.
Subterfuge? That's what you got from this?

Its sad when people lose their sense of whimsy.

Geez Barry, do you know how to have some fun every once in a while? Did you read the responses of other members? They seem to be getting a kick out of it and having some fun along the way. As Robert Plant once said, "Does anybody remember laughter?".

If you think this is silly, why respond, as opposed to just ignoring it?

    Yes I remember it now...
From a Live version of Stairway to Heavon! LOL
Forgot if it is also in the movie they made in the 70's maybe, but great reference!

Re: Solve this St. Louis Numerology Equation to Reveal the Rams' 1st Pick

I figure that those who wished to solve the problem have done so (or tried to), so I'll go ahead and reveal the answer.

The Gateway Arch is 630 feet, making it the tallest man made monument in the U.S.

The Wainright Building, regarded as one of the first skyscrapers, is 147 feet tall.

    630 minus 147 equals 483.

The soda that was created in St. Louis is 7-up.

    483 divided by 7 is 69.

Multiply that by the number of the Rams' first pick (2), yields a sum of 138.

Divide that by the number of cities that have appeared in the Rams' name (3) yields a total of 46.

46 was the college jersey number of Khalil Mack.

    So, there you have it...

The St. Louis Fates have spoken.

This is a great example of some of the worst subterfuge I have ever seen here at Clanram and I hope you keep subterfuging us.

    Hilarious.
