Some comments from Randy Karraker and Bernie to fuel the Rams draft speculation fire

    From Randy Karraker...
"If the Rams don't trade down..."

It's Jason Smith, or Eugene Monroe. In that order.

Sanchez talk and action is to try and convince other teams they like him, so the Rams could trade down.

Rams not exceptionally high on Curry. He compares to former Illini/Jags LB Kevin Hardy.

    From Bernie...
    The daily intel:

My two-dollar bet is still on an OT; they're trying to decide between Smith and Monroe. There's support for each guy in the building.

    Sanchez still an option...

On the list of possibilities, I'd rate Curry 4th at this point.

All subject to change of course.

As always, take it with a grain of salt. You never know if the info they're picking up on is legit or planted misinformation.

Well I personally take this as good news. As nice as Curry would be, we desperately need to improve that O line. It could be the turning point for our offense. We have some good players, but without a good line to protect them, they are all but useless.

If Detroit really passes on Stafford, things could get interesting.

If they select Stafford, I think we take Jason Smith straight-away.
