Some final notes from Senior Bowl week
Some names that had a quite impressive week that we should look out for...
1) Khalif Barnes, OT, Washington. They're reporting that he dominated the competition and might have moved himself into the first round. If that's the case, be on the look-out Rams fans - another first round tackle might be available.
2) Kirk Morrison, LB, Oklahoma. Elevated his stock from a one-dimensional run stuffer to an every down player, possibly on the weak side. The Packers are very interested, but Morrison will probably remain a second round pick.
3) David Baas, G/C, Michigan. He didn't wow people at center but he dominated at guard. This is the kind of guy that's going to shore up the inside of anyone's line. And word has it he has a great work ethic.
Other names: Marcus Johnson, G, Mississippi. Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn. Michael Boley, LB, Southern Miss. Alex Smith, TE, Stanford.
Also, NFLExperts is reporting that the Rams have been looking at tight end Alex Smith as well as running back Noah Herron.

Re: Some final notes from Senior Bowl week
I watched part of the game, wish I had watched more to see Charlie Frye, I love watching those MAC guys. Although the first half didn't see very high scoring.

What about Matt Jones? I saw he scored the only south TD. Did his stocl rise any on is he still a seventh rounder?

Re: Some final notes from Senior Bowl week
He definitely improved his stock. Where to, it depends on what position he's going to play. He could either be a pass catching tight end or a wide receiver, and I think his choice could mean the difference between a Day One and Day Two selection.

Three interesting names in Barnes, Morrison & Baas. Baas has been on the radar for some time, but additions like Morrison and Barnes to the mix will open up the Rams day 1 options quite a bit.
