Re: Some Wonderlic Updates
I expected more than a 26 from Cutler. Little disapointed.

The highest score recorded was a 41 (out of 50) by Oklahoma DT Dusty Dvoracek
On the otherhand, this surprises the fool out of me. Dvoracek never struck me as the "intellectual" type.

I think he had about a 3.5 GPA and was recognized for academic achievements, which somewhat allayed my concerns about character. I think he'll be a draft day steal in the 3rd or 4th round.

Omar Jacobs: 38
Not surprised. I've heard him interviewed, and he sounds like a very bright young man.
(have I mentioned that I think he's the second best QB in the draft?)

Cutler? 3rd or 4th round? He may be gone by pick 10 in Round 1.

Well, I really don't think any of us expect any of these players to be splitting atoms or curing AIDS anytime soon anyway.
As long as they can tackle or run or catch or throw or do whatever they do on the football field well....who cares if all they can do is bubble their name on a test?
