I'd rather sign an FA WR thats already developed and ready to be a #1 WR. On Reid and Te'o, I don't understand why so many people on this board have man crushes on these guys, I really don't. To me, Reid is nothing special. He is the best S of a very mediocre class, Jefferson from Oklahoma may actually be the better pro.

Te'o is ok, but he doesn't even fit our scheme. I think he's a bit over-rated, but he definitely has the potential to be a monster at the next level. He is a tackling maching, but for an OLB to be drafted in round 1, and actually in the top 20 picks, you have to be special.

After watching LSU vs A&M I think taking LT Luke Joeckel may be a very good consideration. The guy man handled Sam Montgomery (pass rushing 3-4 OLB, top 15 draft choice). He could be a really good LT.

I'm still open to many many things. Still got to watch a lot more tape and reviews.

They don't have a signature stat for run blocking like they do pass blocking. But they do have their normal ranking of lineman based on pass blocks, screens, and run blocks, and when ranked by run blocking, Clady ties for 39th in the league among tackles who have played 25% of their team's offensive snaps.

It's also worth noting that he's first overall among tackles in pass blocking according to this area of their site, so there seems to be some wiggle room between this statistic and their own signature pass efficiency stat.

I like the draft a lot and love us picking up Bowe. The only thing i dont like is moving Saffold to RT.

Agreed. Wasn't that the position he was best suited for coming out of college? If we got Long or Clady in FA or draft Joeckel, I don't see why it would be a problem.
