We need a development QB, that gives us a long-term payoff.
    I agree 100% ! !

One of the most important aspects of a QB is accurecy! He doesn't have to have a rocket of a arm , but he has to have arm strenght.

I hope Rams don't draft a QB before the 3rd round.

The QB's I like comming out this year and what round the Rams could take a flyer on.

All developmental QB's . Let Bulger keep taking the beating until O-Line can protect someone.

    1) Dan LeFevour 3rd round
    2) Jarret Brown 4th round
    3) Rusty Smith 7th round

    A) Any QB Coach in the NFL will tell you that "arm strength" is the most overrated quality for a QB. I believe it was Brian Billick who said, "To fans, arm strength is probably the #1 quality to being a good QB. To a coach, it's about 8th or 9th."

    B) Pike's arm strength is sufficient. The two strongest armed Rams over the past 15 years would be Tony Banks and Kyle Bollar. Two "enough" armed Rams over the past 15 years......Warner and Bulger. Which would you rather have?

There's just so much more to being a QB than arm strength.

If we grab an FA Qb and he does really good.... why would we need Jake Locker next year?
Because they may be old and retire/suffer a downturn in performance in a few years?

Of course...if your goal is Locker, even a 2 or 3 win improvement in the Rams record next season could be bad.

That is the most asinine plan i've ever heard! You wanna loose bad this next season just so we can pick high to get Jake Locker?! Treason!!!

    I banish you!

I don't. I was just pointing out the fatal contradiction in the "get playmaker, draft Locker" plan.
