Stafford and Detroit
Just curious if anyone thinks Stafford would pull an Eli Manning with the Lions? Sure I know every rookie wants to start but I don't see that team turning the ship anytime soon.

Re: Stafford and Detroit
I don't think it's likely, because Stafford has already made positive comments about possibly being a Lion. Here are some of them...
“I think in the end that’s a heck of an honor, and that’s something I’d definitely love to be able to associate that with my name and maybe turn that franchise around,” he said.“I’d love to be a part of something like that. I’m a competitive guy and love a challenge, and that would definitely be a fun situation for me.”Quotes courtesy of the Detroit Free Press.Stafford, who turns 21 on Wednesday, said he’s ready to pack up and move “to a city that I have most likely never been to in my entire life and it probably has a lot colder winters than Athens, Ga.”
Patrick pointed out: “Yeah, but you get to play in a dome in Detroit.”
“That’s true, that’s true, and hopefully that’s where it ends up,” Stafford said. “From what I see, the people they’re bringing in and I think that franchise is about ready to turn around.”

Re: Stafford and Detroit
Well I guess an ounce of research on my part would have stopped me from wasting space with this thread.
Thanks Nick.
