Rams 2600 vs. Redskins 2770 (approx.)

It'll take 1.4, 1.22, 3rd rounder, and 1st next year! :D

lol to bad your not the Browns GM, im sure the Rams would except that offer in a heart beat.

I would absolutely love that trade. And after RG3's 4.38, that might be the starting price. At 6, we'd have our choice of maybe Blackmon if he falls(slow 40, insanity), Floyd(looked real good today, would trade down again to get him), Richardson(don't like it), Rieff(maybe), and our choice of DT's(Brockers anyone?).
Possible second trade would be to 10 with Buffalo if they really want Coples as a pass rusher.

I could also see the Bengels wanting a shot at 6 if Richardson is still there. Which would make for my ideal once in a decade trade scenario. Would give an influx of talent and a big stack of picks to work with this and next year.

I negotiate for a living one thing I know is "cost" does not equate to fair market value.. I can see this happening easy. The Browns the Skins and the few other teams are going to set the value of the the trade for RGIII not the "cost" or the trade chart. IMO

True, but I think they're going to be consulting the chart in the initial stages of negotiation to try and find something that's fair. If/when other teams get involved and try to one-up each other, the value chart could go out the window.

Very excellent point Rambos. It's a matter of supply and demand. There's one RG3, and there's only a possibly worthless Peyton, Flynn, Henne, Campbell and Orton out there for the Dolphins, Skins, Browns, Chiefs, Broncos, Seahawks, Cardinals(maybe), and Jets(maybe).
That's 8 looking for upgrades against 5 guys, where only two are really upgrades. That means it's a seller's market, and it means we need to hope that the Jets pick up Peyton!

I can go to the store and buy a pack of cookies for a few bucks... but when I'm at the Mall a will pay a few bucks for one cookie... When it comes to market value cost has no weight... the market is set by the market (the people). If the Browns where the only team having a real need for a QB... then the chart would come into play IMO.
My wife always gets pissed when I buy that cookie... and I say I just had to have it now and I'm willing to pay for it...

Good points. Hopefully there's still plenty of interest after the free agency period cools down and we can play these teams against each other.
Re: Take it with a grain of salt (Redskins rumor)...
Nick, it helps that there's only two real Franchise guys out on the market, and a lot of teams looking for upgrades. An injured Peyton who isn't even official yet, and Flynn. Uness you count Orton, Campbell, or Henne as franchise guys?
