Do we make a run at him? I'm not sure if there are any injuries that would accompany him but sounds like a solid pick up. All thoughts welcome

all depends on the price tag... he's an ageing player who is probably looking for one more big pay day or a team on its way to the super bowl, which doesn't look like us after a 3-13 season. I think that Victor Hobson would be a better option as a run stuffing SLB.
is he a free agent??
If we can get him cheap. How long was he with the Eagles?
I liked Spikes, although "liked" as in a few years ago in Buffalo "liked", he was mediocre in Phily last year (his only year there)
IF his price tag is SMALL...bring him in and make sure he's ok...then why not...THAT IS A HUGE IF...Victor Hobson is a free agent?
We already have a starting weak-side linebacker with injury concerns, why add an older one?
I thought Takeo played SLB.
Maybe if he bulked up he may be able to play SAM, i think he might need to add a bit extra muscle to the neck region... :)
I'd still like to see us get Landon Johnson from Cincy who is still a free agent. This kid can play and can cover in passing situations. Dont know if he is even on the front offices radar or not but I'd like to see him in a Rams uniform next season.
Wow, i didnt know Victor Hobson was an FA...He's a great player who was just thrown in the horrible "Mangenius" defensive scheme that seems to ruin great linebackers I.E. Johnathan Vilma. In 2006 Hobson had 100 tackes and 6 sacks and he's still really young, if we lose chillar why not grab hobson? Whoever bought up Victor nice call i didnt realize he was an FA.
