Which TE should the Rams get for 2010?

I like Bronco's TE Scheffler the best but didn't pick him because restricted free agent.

I would not want Rams to give up a 2nd rd pick for him. I would trade a 4th rd pick for the rights.

So I picked TE Dennis Pitta (BYU). I think the Rams can get him or Jimmy Graham in the 4th Rd.

I chose Scheffler but you have to quantify your selection with a round for it to make the most sense, especially of the draft picks. I'd trade for Scheffler but realistically I'm looking at one of those 5th's for him or I don't pull the trigger on it and would rather take my chance on one of the prospects.

Of them, I like many of them in different rounds but I think the Rams need to play the draft safe this year. That means removing a few of those guys from consideration due to question marks. Like Gresham with the system+injury at #33. Same with Gronkowski. I really like both of those prospects Gresham and Gronkowski, just too risky of a prospect for the Rams that soon and some other team in a much better position than us can afford to take a risk on either of them and most likely will.

Watched the Tight Ends perform today at the combine...really impressed by Jimmy Graham (MIA), Dorin Dickerson (PITT), Jermaine Gresham (OKLA), and Anthony McCoy (USC).

Gresham we would be lucky to snag at the top of the second round, but I think he will be a first round pick.

I think we could get Jimmy Graham, Dorin Dickerson, or Anthony McCoy in the mid-rounds.

Graham kind of reminds me of an Antonio Gates...basketball player turned tight end. Definitely has the size.

And Dickerson Mayock has as the #3 tight end, he has good hands and 4.4 speed. Very nice for a tight end
