A free safety who used to play for UCLA until he violated team rules and failing multiple drug tests, played for Eastern Washington University until the last four games where he suffered back injuries. As a prospect, he's quite under the radar right now and many teams are likely to pass him with his off the field issues but I can see Jeff Fisher turning his career around. His skills fit the free safety mold so he might be the solution to our soft coverage woes and allow our corners to play tight man-to-man more often. I would definitely consider drafting him in the 5th round.
He's also the brother of TJ McDonald so having to play next him to on the backfield can provide good motivation.
Re: Tevin McDonald
I remember him when he played at UCLA, he was actually one of their better players.
