There are a lot of excellent players at #2 for the Rams
There are a few impact players who I think can be game-changers for the Rams at the #2 pick. All of these guys are worthy of being drafted this high. If I was a GM, it would be a tough decision for me.
Andre Smith - OT - Huge, dominating run blocker; great pass blocker with great feet for a guy his size. A leader on the offensive line.
Aaron Curry - LB - 6'2", 247 lbs, Terrific blend of size, speed, and athleticism, a tackling machine, sideline-to-sideline player, can pass rush effectively, can shed blockers effectively, runs like a DB, plays with passion and intensity.
Malcolm Jenkins - CB - 6'1", 200 lbs, Four year starter, shutdown CB, rarely gets thrown at, excellent open-field tackler, runs a 4.3 40
Taylor Mays - S - 6'3", 230 lbs - Amazing size, ran a 4.2 40, great coverage skills, great tackler who can lay the wood down, could be Ed Reed-like

Smith & Jenkins would be solid value
Aaron Curry a slight reach..(say 2-6 places)
and Taylor Mays could end up going anywhere between 8-26..but not good value at 2nd overall...also although Mays could probably play anywhere in the secondary IMHO he`s better suited for FS...one of the few positions we look set at apart from depth and theres no way you just go for depth with the 2nd overall when you are in our position.
Re: There are a lot of excellent players at #2 for the Rams
Aaron Curry isn't really one of our priorities, considering he is an outside linebacker. I would much rather get Maualauga. If we were to trade down, I would love to get Mays or Maualauga.
Re: There are a lot of excellent players at #2 for the Rams
I would put Lauranitis and Maualuga on that list over Mays and Curry.
We need an OT for next season and for the future.
We need a MLB really bad
We need a corner to start on the other side of Bartell.
All four players are included in that list...
