Re: Thinking Caps, Folks!
My thought on Branch is if he was projected as a top 10 pick based on his play on the field, he's probably good value at 13 even if he is a little flabby and not that agile.

Re: Thinking Caps, Folks!
I think at this point, we don't really have much of a choice. There isn't really and defensive tackles left in free agency worth even looking at. It could be argued that we should look into the second and third rounds for a tackle but there's a reason why Branch is a top-ten/first round prospect.. and these other DT's aren't. I think if he is there at #13 we have to pull the trigger.

Re: Thinking Caps, Folks!
If he is there at 13 he is the pick, who knows the Rams may move up for him.
I think the knocks he has gotten have been people nit picking at him. Motivation is someting that can be taught.

Re: Thinking Caps, Folks!
If we're looking for a big run stuffing interior lineman (which we are), then he's the best one in this draft. Concerns about a resemblance to Jimmy Kennedy will have some Rams fans skeptical, but the criticisms of Branch are made about a lot of big men, including those who have gone on to be successful. In the end, he's exactly what we need at our biggest area of need, so I certainly think he'd get a lot of consideration at 13 if he's there.
