The lights are still on Rams Park, and, apparently, the work continues on some big free agent moves. After signing Cortland Finnegan to a five-year, $50 million deal, the St. Louis Rams may sign defensive tackle Jason Jones before the night is over, according to Jim Thomas of the Post Dispatch.

DL Jones close to signing deal with Rams

The former Titan had not yet visited Rams Park as of 9 p.m. St. Louis time on Tuesday, according to a team source. Jones has 15.5 sacks in four years -- including three years while he played for new Rams coach Jeff Fisher.

May not be surprising but lets be honest we all saw it would make sense but the question was would it get done.We have been let down in the past so until something happens no matter how much sense it makes is completely different from actually doing.We are doing the things we should which is what im happy about.

It would be awesome if we sign him and pick a DT in the second like Worthy or Still. Then we would have one of the best young lines in all of football.

I have a feeling after the Rams sign him, they will be looking at one of the 1st round DT's at the draft. A run stuffing DT is a HUGE need. Cox, Poe or Brockers. After a trade down though.
