Todd's Mock Draft
1. Alan Branch (DT - Michigan)
If available, Rams should RUN (not walk) card to podium. IMO exactly what we need to help porous run D and keep O-lineman off of Witherspoon.
*If Branch n/a, take Anderson/Carriker.
2. Tim Crowder (DE - Texas) /LaMarr Woodley (DE - Michigan)
Little and Hall getting long in tooth, Adeyanju looks like solid run DE but not much on pass rush.
*If Anderson in R1, take best available DT (Mebane/Marcus Thomas)
3. Lorenzo Booker (RB - Florida St.)
Outside of Run D, next biggest priority in draft is backup RB as we have little on depth chart in case Train goes down. This guy is a broke man's Reggie Bush, good back-up.
4. Kenny Scott (CB - Georgia Tech)
Would prefer Fred Bennett out of S Carolina, but likely gone by this pick. Scott is a tall, fast CB that could team with Hill in future.
*Also could go for a S like Josh Gattis out of Wake Forest here.
5. Prescott Burgess (SAM LB - Michigan)
Great size & athletic ability. Provide depth and perhaps challenge Chillar down the line.
6. Yamon Figurs (WR/return specialist - K-State)
Developing WR, dynamite return man (which we haven't had since Horne & Hakim)
7. Brian Smith (OLB - homer pick as Mizzou grad)
7. Kasey Studdard (OG - Texas)
7. Jesse Daniels (S - LSU)
What say ye!
P.S. I'm not a Michigan fan, although it appears that way here!Last edited by todd1; -04-08-2007 at 12:54 PM.

Re: Todd's Mock Draft
Kenny Scott is slotted in the 7-undrafted. 4th is a big reach for a guy that didn't really do anything. Jesse Daniels is a 5-6 pick, but overall it's alright.

ur not a michigan fan? :'(
good draft, i like the branch pick alot, and i really dont think that brian smith will be there in the 7th maybe the 6th, but Id give the draft a B, and i dont think the rams will draft a RB on the first day.

Re: Todd's Mock Draft
Scott is about 6'1" and ran a 4.39. He is rated as a 3-4 round pick by NFLDraftScout.com. Pretty sure he'll be picked before 6th round, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you look at the available CB's in this draft, there aren't many over 6' with that type of speed. That is why I think a team will jump on him in the middle rounds. We'll see.

Re: Todd's Mock Draft
I prefer Crowder over Woodley, as well. Just hedging my bet a little, because I don't know if Crowder will still be around at #52.
Nick, where is your mock? Just interested who you would be looking at in the various rounds. I love this time of year.
