Re: Tom Brandstater
I definitely want us to take him, he seems like a good quarterback in the late rounds. He will be able to learn under Marc Bulger and become a better qb.

Re: Tom Brandstater
I would be in favour of a Brandstater in the late rounds. I've been preaching that if we don't take a QB in the 1st (which we likely won't), I don't want to touch one until the fifth round. The only way I would be in favour of taking a QB in round two is if Mark Sanchez somehow falls there because that would be a major, major steal. Otherwise no QB til the fifth round because everyone will start complaining next year that we took a QB high this year if we're in a position to draft a franchise signal caller.

Re: Tom Brandstater
He's not a guy you would expect to come in an start as a rookie, but he has all the tools to develop into a starter. Right now, he's my Round 5 pick.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Tom Brandstater
He is horrible! I've seen pretty much all his games on tv or at Bulldog Staduim. I live 45 mins from Fresno, and would rather us trade a 4th round pick for a qb who's already been in the league. Do not touch him...how many times do I have to say it. Don't draft a qb this yr, wait till next year. Get another WR first, to let him develop in the nfl for a yr, then get ready to replace Bulger next yr if/when he fails.

Re: Tom Brandstater
I say take him and let him develope. In three years Bulger will be 35 turning 36.
I would rather take a chance on a 5th round draft choice, Than taking a chance with the Rams 1.2 in this draft or even waiting to draft Tebow or whoever next year.
Just think Tom Brady was a 6th round choice, If I remember right.
Just because their the first QB taken in round 1 in the draft doesn't mean they will be future hall of fame QB.
